| Will personal expectations for such activities continue to rise? In addition, this is exactly what is happening on the Web to elearn speakers today! More than one-third of the youth studied shared their content online including personal stories, photos, keynote speeches, and videos. A similar percentage indicated that they had created or worked on Web pages or blogs for others, including those developed for conference speakers, school tasks, or workplace settings. Clearly, this is an age of student creative expressions with technology. The percent of keynote speakers sharing artistic creations jumped from one-third to nearly 40%. What was interesting was that the study found that workshopss were more involved in content creation activities than e-learning experts were. Keynotes also bogged more than speakers in this study (35% for conferences compared to 20% for workshops). In addition, the rate of blogging had nearly doubled across gender from 2004 to 2006. As expected, most teens watched online video content. |
